Training and Certification
This page is in evolution and under construction. Changes will be made as we get constructive feedback. During this growing period, a "Charter Tuition" will be posted. As soon as the courses are finished and instructors are hired, the prices will go up and a complete tuition for the whole program will be required up-front.
The Institute is in its embryonic state. As it grows and gains recognition, we believe the certification will be accepted by other organizations. For the time being, it is an internal certification, except for Course 3, the Protocol for Psycholegal Trauma, which is recognized if you work with the ADA (American Disability Act).
Therapists or lay people who would like to move into the paraprofessional aspect of the Institute of Quantum Healing and Biofeedback for Trauma Survivors (IQHBTS) will need to take courses and become certified. There are several Phases and Courses to the IQHBTS certification (under consideration and review). The courses in Phase I can be taken in any order.
PHASE I

Course 4: Write an essay on Fun, Balance and the Meaning of Life - Email it for acceptance
The reason for this essay is that if we, as counselors, do not have fun in our lives,
do not know how to balance time for ourselves, for meditation, for work, for
family and friends, we will not last very long in this line of work, which is very
challenging. We need to be able to take breaks. Also, without a strong calling or
understanding of the meaning of one's life, it will be more difficult to
persevere when facing obstacles. Charter Tuition: $150.00
Course 5: Quantum Naturopathy, Biofeedback and Trauma Recovery: Home Study Course
This course consists of a list of 10 books to study.

Passing grade on tests is 80%
Course 6: Horse Therapy Class: ...in the works...
Horse therapy is a very powerful way of clearing trauma and of learning how to work
with other people. We have a facility in California which will be working with us. We will
also be searching for other facilities, until we have our own.
Course 7: Essay on an area of specialization - Email it for acceptance
What is your specialty? Aromatherapy? Hands-on healing? Massage therapy?
Psychotherapy? Art work? Mentorship? Coaching? Nutrition? Sports?
Choose an area which you plan to incorporate as a counselor, which you believe
would be beneficial to trauma survivors. Charter Tuition: $150.00
PRECEPTORSHIP II (Retreat)
PRECEPTORSHIP II (Retreat) and Certification 1
Anytime after finishing Course 1-7, being involved in Course 8 is a plus
Course 8: If interested in becoming certified and working with the Institute:
1 year of mentorship program will be required
PHASE II
You will be working for one year with different groups, while continuing to educate yourself about the different aspects of being an effective para-professional for trauma survivors. Your work will be monitored and subject to reviews.
At the end of one year, you will be able to earn a second certificate, which will allow you to train other para-professionals for certification by the Institute.
PRECEPTORSHIP III - Trainer Certification
1 week of practice, training and fun
PHASE III
After one year of successfully training other paraprofessionals, you will be able to become an Ambassador for the Institute, representing the Institute to other organizations in different countries.
